Cochrane Lions Local Objectives
Since the International Convention of 1920, when Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become "Knights of the Blind in the battle against darkness," sight conservation has been a high priority of Lions service. In keeping with the commitment made to Ms. Keller in 1920, the Cochrane Lions continue to put the aid of the visually impaired as one of our highest priorities. One of our largest projects being the CNIB Eye Van visit that we sponsor and co-ordinate in the Spring of every year.

The Cochrane Lions Club regularly donates to programs to assist the physically and mentally challenged. Our goal is to help those in our community who through no fault of their own, need a helping hand.

The Cochrane Lions Club also is the main sponsor of the Cochrane Air Cadets. We also provide Donations to many Charities and Programs serving the Community of Cochrane and it' surrounding area.

On top of all that, we want to enjoy the fellowship that goes along with satisfying our primary goals.
